When a natural disaster strikes, the Harbor Freight Tools Foundation supports the American Red Cross in its work to respond and provide relief in communities across the United States. Through this support, millions of people who face the devastating consequences of hurricanes, fires, floods and other natural disasters receive the necessary help and aid to recover and rebuild. When hurricanes and wildfires struck Texas, Florida and California in 2017, Harbor Freight Tools sent supplies to help communities respond and recover. In 2018, Harbor Freight Tools sent generators to Puerto Rico to help Americans who were without power after Hurricane Maria. Harbor Freight Tools also has assembled and distributed emergency kits for Red Cross disaster response.
The Harbor Freight Tools Foundation is part of The Smidt Foundation, created by Harbor Freight Tools Founder Eric Smidt.
